Picture used for illustrative purposes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The official website for the Involuntary Loss of Employment Scheme (ILOE) &#8211; iloe.ae is now accepting submission claims, which means that workers in the UAE can start receiving their cash compensation from the UAE\u2019s job loss scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the main criteria for receiving the claims is to be subscribed to the scheme for 12 consecutive months and if you<a href=\"https:\/\/gulfnews.com\/living-in-uae\/ask-us\/early-iloe-subscribers-you-are-now-eligible-for-the-unemployment-insurance-payout-1.1704208249481\">\u00a0meet all the other conditions<\/a>\u00a0as well, you must submit a claim\u00a0<strong>within 30 days<\/strong>\u00a0following the termination of the employment relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: According to MOHRE, workers must make sure their employer has cancelled their work permit before submitting the claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to submit ILOE claim online<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1 \u2013 Login to your ILOE account:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Visit the ILOE website \u2013 iloe.ae and click on the \u2018submit your claim\u2019 button on the homepage. Next, click on the \u2018Submit your claim\u2019 option again on the login page.<br>\u2022 Select the \u2018Login with One-Time Password (OTP)\u2019 option, and enter your mobile number and Emirates ID. Click on \u2018Request OTP\u2019 button and enter the OTP sent to you via SMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2 \u2013 Fill in the claim submission form:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 You will then be transferred to a personal dashboard, where you will be able to see your insurance policy details and the history of payment. It will also state if you paid the entire policy premium for the 12-month subscription period.<br>\u2022 Next, click on the \u2018Claim Submission\u2019 button on the menu, which is on the left of the screen.<br>\u2022 Next, confirm the employee name, policy duration and your mobile number. The number should be the one you used to register with ILOE. Click on \u2018Proceed to your claim process\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3 \u2013 Confirm contract termination details:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 After that, you will have to confirm the reason for cancellation (termination) of the contract and the date of cancellation (dismissal).<br>\u2022 If the details are correct, select \u2018yes\u2019 and click on the green \u2018Submit claim\u2019 button.<br>\u2022 If these details are incorrect, select \u2018no\u2019 and explain why the information is incorrect in the remarks section and upload any supporting documents. Once you have filled in the details, click on the \u2018Submit claim\u2019 button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*It is important to note that if your company is\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ttps\/\/gulfnews.com\/living-in-uae\/ask-us\/uae-free-zone-companies-can-now-enrol-employees-in-unemployment-insurance-scheme--all-you-need-to-know-1.1694439842031\">not registered with MOHRE<\/a>, the reason and date of cancellation will not be available, with the screen stating \u2018N\/A\u2019 (Not Applicable). In that case, you can just proceed to clicking on the \u2018Submit claim\u2019 button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4: Select how you want to receive payout:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Once that is complete, move on to the payment details. You have two ways to receive the insurance compensation \u2013 bank transfers or cash through money exchange houses.<br>Bank transfer: If you choose \u2018Bank\u2019, fill in the following details:<br>\u2022 Select the bank name from the drop-down menu.<br>\u2022 Enter the International Bank Account Number (IBAN) number and account number.<br>\u2022 Enter the account holder\u2019s name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When filling out the IBAN details you must make sure it is correct. Dubai Insurance will also save your bank details in their system for future requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cash payment: If you want to receive the payout in cash, select \u2018exchange house\u2019 and enter the following details:<br>\u2022 Select the name of the exchange house from the drop-down menu.<br>\u2022 Enter your Emirates ID and passport number.<br>\u2022 When collecting the payment, make sure you have your valid Emirates ID with you, when you visit the exchange centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 5: Submit the claim:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Once you have entered the payment details, click on the \u2018submit claim\u2019 button. According to MOHRE, you will receive updates regarding the claim on your registered email address and mobile number.<br>\u2022 You can also log into the ILOE website, and check the status of your claim submission under the \u2018My Claims\u2019 section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HOW MUCH IS THE COMPENSATION?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An employee shall be entitled to compensation at 60 per cent of his or her \u2018subscription salary\u2019. For workers who are subscribed under Category A (basic salary of Dh16,000 or below), the maximum claim benefit you can receive is Dh10,000 per month.
