In-patient Services
Private room. Intensive care unit and coronary artery disease treatment covered. Accommodation for a person accompanying a beneficiary below 16 years of age covered up to AED 100 per night, on medical necessity and with prior approval.

Physician consultation, prescribed drugs and medicines, diagnostics (X-Ray, MRI, CT-Scan, ultrasound and endoscopy) and physiotherapy.

Maternity
Inside Abu Dhabi: combined in-patient and out-patient limit up to the Annual Benefit Limit; AED 500 deductible for delivery inside Abu Dhabi as per HAAD. Outside Abu Dhabi: combined in-patient and out-patient limit of AED 10,000; same out-patient deductible as the selected plan applies to maternity consultations. Covers pre and post natal care, normal delivery, medically necessary caesarean section, complications and legal terminations. In-patient treatment requires prior approval.
Abu Dhabi law excludes pregnancy and delivery cover for women enrolled as unmarried (Law 23/2005, Art. 13(5)).

Coverage Criteria for Treatment outside UAE
Treatment outside the UAE is covered for up to 90 days per treatment. A single holiday or business trip may not exceed 90 days.

Dental, hearing & vision aids, vision correction
Dental and gum treatment, hearing and vision aids, and vision correction by surgery or laser are covered in medical emergencies only.
Emergency dental (accidental damage)
Covered when the treatment is needed within three months following accidental damage to sound natural teeth caused by violent external means, and is given by a physician, dentist or dental surgeon. No treatment is covered more than 3 months after the accident. Treatment needed because of food or drink, or foreign bodies contained in food or drink, is not covered.

New Born baby coverage
Babies born inside or outside the UAE are covered from the date of birth on the mother's card for the first 30 days, up to the mother's annual benefit limit. A newborn is added to the main policy only when the policyholder asks for it, and is subject to medical underwriting. Cover for newborns follows HAAD benefit guidelines.
