Medicine Limit
Covered with 0% copay per invoice, up to the Aggregate Annual Limit.
Maternity
Normal Delivery up to a sub-limit of AED 10,000. Medically necessary Caesarean Section and complications up to a sub-limit of AED 10,000. Maternity-related medical emergencies up to a sub-limit of AED 150,000. Out-patient eligible maternity up to the Annual limit. 10% co-payment on all Maternity treatment, including out-patient maternity consultation (no Deductible applies). In-patient maternity subject to prior approval.

Covered as set out in the Adult Pneumococcal Vaccination guidelines, on a reimbursement basis.
Cancer Treatments
Screening, healthcare services, investigations and treatments are covered only for members enrolled under the Patient Support Program, as per the terms, conditions and exclusions of the programme defined by DHA.
Follow-up consultation co-pay (within 7 days)
No co-payment on a follow-up consultation within 7 days for the same treatment with the same doctor.
Coverage Criteria for Treatment outside UAE
Treatment outside the UAE is covered for up to 90 days per treatment. A single holiday or business trip may not exceed 90 days.

Dental, hearing & vision aids, vision correction
Dental and gum treatment, hearing and vision aids, and vision correction by surgery or laser are covered in medical emergencies only.
Emergency dental (accidental damage)
Covered when the treatment is needed within three months following accidental damage to sound natural teeth caused by violent external means, and is given by a physician, dentist or dental surgeon. No treatment is covered more than 3 months after the accident. Treatment needed because of food or drink, or foreign bodies contained in food or drink, is not covered.

Hepatitis B Virus Screening and treatment
Screening and treatment covered as per DHA guidelines.
Hepatitis C Infection
Screening, healthcare services, investigations and treatments related to viral hepatitis and its complications are covered only for members enrolled under the Patient Support Program, as per the terms, conditions and exclusions of the programme defined by DHA.
Influenza Vaccine
Covered once per year as per DHA guidelines, at designated clinics only. For Dubai visa holders, on a reimbursement basis.
Intensive care & coronary artery disease
Covered.
New Born baby coverage
Babies born inside or outside the UAE are covered from the date of birth on the mother's card for the first 30 days, up to the mother's annual benefit limit. A newborn is added to the main policy only when the policyholder asks for it, and is subject to medical underwriting. Cover for newborns follows DHA benefit guidelines.
Out Patient Surgery
Covered.
Preventive services (members over 18)
Diabetic screening: fasting blood sugar and HbA1c tests are covered once per policy year for eligible members. Prior approval is required for the free-access facility.
Organ transplantation (recipient only)
Covered for the member as the recipient. Any charges related to the donor are excluded, as are the acquisition and the cost of the organ itself. Organs covered are: heart, lung, kidney, pancreas, liver, and allogeneic and autologous bone marrow.
Accompanying person accommodation
Covered up to AED 100 per night for one person staying in the same room with a beneficiary under 16 years of age, where it is medically necessary, recommended by the treating doctor and approved in advance.
